OUR LINEAGE:
There are other Masonic Orders that use our history and name. However, we take pride in the fact that our General Grand Masonic Congress is the First General Grand Masonic Congress, and all others are splits. None are affiliated with the Mother Grand Lodge and our Holy see "The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge", Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Washington, DC which received its Warrant & Charter from "The Grand Lodge of Romania" in (1896) to work in the United States. This site contains a copy of that Warrant standing as Proof that our G.G.M.C. is who we say we are.
Masons from other Jurisdictions claim to have a copy of their Original Warrant & Charter to be considered Regular and to operate Legally but do not have a good working relationship with their perceived founders and affiliates Nationally or Internationally... It is easy to see the Truth in our Brotherly love for one another as it was cemented in stone with our Brothers in Romania since (1896) with the work done with them by the Ill. Henry C. Scott 33⁰, the Ill. John G. Jones 33⁰, and the Ill. H. T. Broadus 33⁰ who was the M.W. Grand Master of Pennsylvania (1912). These age-old ties with Romania simply reestablish and reaffirm our international friendships with the Current Grand Master of Romania (2017-Present) along with other Treaties all over Europe, North, Central, and South America, Middle East, and Asia with other Grand Masters and President Generals of other Jurisdictions and Nations Worldwide. It is important to note that All of this was made possible because of the foundation and legacy left to us by our Masonic Founders and Forefathers. It is up to this very day that the National and International relationships and friendships have continued to be carried on with our Past President General Ill. Ollie Spencer Sr. 33⁰/98⁰ and our current President General Ill. Michael Billingslea 33⁰. Hence there is no question as to the Fact that we are Regular and Operate Legally Worldwide. This site provides proof and documentation to support these claims (see pics & links below). With that being said, we are open to recognizing Good Masons from other Jurisdictions who have a proper Lineage, Warrant, & Charter making it easy to consider and accept other Brother Masons and to respect their Jurisdictional rights. As Independent Masons we all volunteered to pledge ourselves to the principles and tenants of Freemasonry, not to some superficial rules of engagement set up by those that would seek to control, conquer, and divide us as Brother Masons... No one Masonic body or organization has the rite to lay claim over the control, legitimacy, or regularity of Freemasonry.
Thanks to the forward thinking and perseverance of Great Masonic Men like The Hon. John G. Jones of Illinois, H. C. Scott of D.C., N. F. Henry of Washington, D.C., W. T. Grant of Louisiana, along with over 50,000 affiliates and members; to include the statements of several High Ranking A.F.& A. Masons from the Republic of Romania; we are here today continuing in their footsteps to work in the quarries to hue perfect ashlars from those that are rough. Special recognition and thanks should also go out to The Brilliant Legal Team of Mr. William A. Allison and Mr. Charles Kerwin, who helped forge a Legal and Recognized path forward for us "Colored Masons" in the year 6000 A.L. or 1910 A.D. cementing our Legitimate claim to Freemasonry.
What I want to impress upon all Good Brother Masons that fall under the widespread arms of the Jurisdiction of the General Gran Masonic Congress; is that they can STOP ARGUING with foolishness (Proverbs 26: 3-12). This so-called "Great Debate" was settled over 100 years ago about who is Legal and Regular when it comes to Recognized Masonic Orders, so we Do NOT have to Ever Argue the Facts of our Legitimacy Again with anyone! The legal documentations, warrants of constitution, and affidavits from our Founding Fathers and International Brothers solidified the fact that we are Regular and Recognized Masons Worldwide; to include all 50 United States of America and The District of Columbia, its Territories, and Canada. This Historic Decision was Established, Recorded, and Filed for All to see and Read in the Court of Appeals No. 2007 in Washington, D.C. on February 1, 1910.

In 2006 The Coalition of General Grand Masonic Congress's and their representative President Generals met in Chicago, IL. to Commemorate and Memorialize the Grave site of Ill. John G. Jones who contributed so much to the Masonic Order and to people of Color in general as a Civil Rights leader, Lawyer, Activist, and Politician.
They all were Ambassador and Representatives of the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons (A. F. & A.M.) that started a journey together on June 27, 1847, coming from the Lineage of Independent Free-thinking Masons within The National Grand Lodge. This Spirit of Masonry that they believed in carried on into the establishment of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge in Washington, D.C.; it was led by men like Ill. Edward H. Thomas 33rd, Ill. Henry C. Scott 33rd, and Ill. John G. Jones 33rd; all of whom contributed mightily to the existence & success of the GG.M.C. __________________________________ 09/17/22 On this Historic date the 5 separate GENERAL GRAND MASONIC CONGRESSES met under 1 roof in Houston, TX (Humble) to further discuss unification under the name and banner of "The United General Grand Masonic Congress" (U.G.G.M.C.) |
